2022 Portuguese general Elections - Partido Socialista Português

The frustrated Portuguese people were going into another election due to a failed partnership between the Socialist Party and Bloco de Esquerda, who did not approve the budget for the year 2022. This created a lot of tension and disappointment all around the country.

My main task during this campaign was to mobilize the militants, by contributing to the content strategy (creation, curation, and distribution), managing a phone banking team of 10 that reached over 30,000 people, and overseeing Email and WhatsApp communications. Additionally, I was in charge of the campaign website, collaborated on TV ad scripts, and coordinated a volunteer structure of 5,000 participants.

We won the election with an absolute majority, exceeding all expectations.

  • - Built and daily updated the campaign website (Squarespace) - 6.000 visits/day

    - Linked Mailchimp, Squarespace, and Qomon together

  • - In charge of email communications (Mailchimp) - 65.000 contacts - 29% open rate

    - In charge of WhatsApp communications - 7.000 contacts - 55% open rate

  • - In charge of a team of 10 people

    - Contacted close to 30.000 militants (Qomon)

  • - Created the structure from scratch, involving militants and people from outside the party

    - Constant communication (WhatsApp & email) and adjudication of tasks (e.g. share post, attend event, interact on social media)
