Ah Amália - Living Experience

Ah Amália is the first immersive biography of any Portuguese icon. Focused on Amália Rodrigues, the Queen of Fado, it takes you through her life by immersing you into a one of a kind experience. Opened in March 2024, after a complicated launch, they wanted to change their communication strategy. This is where I came in.

After analyzing the experience’s communication, I took simple but effective steps to make it easier to understand and highlighted the aspects that make this product unique. After this initial period, I focused on organizing and communicating the official launch, on the 25th anniversary of Amália’s death. This event allowed us to finally get into mainstream national media, having multiple articles written about Ah Amália in the biggest of Portuguese newspapers and opening the main TV news channel at peak time (8 pm). Following our successful official launch, we decided to implement a special promotion for the month of October. Through successful communication, we doubled ticket sales during those 4 weeks.

  • Creation, curation, planning, and distribution of all digital and non-digital content (flyers, back of buses, magazines, etc)

  • Contact with media partners to maximize our positions

  • Involved in the design creation of all pieces

  • Contact with press entities
